The UC Davis Office of Research recently profiled the activities of the UC Davis Milk Bioactives Group. This includes a video of Dr. Bruce German presenting at the RISE symposium.
Two new NIH grants were recently awarded involving Milk Bioactives group at FFHI. The first is a $2.7M grant from the National Cancer Institute is led by Yu-Jui Yvonne Wan, a professor and vice chair for research in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and also involves Dr. Mills and Dr. Carolyn Slupsky (FST). The second grant is for $4.2M from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine is led by Dr. Mills and the FFHI Milk Bioactives Group (Drs.
Dr. Steve Frese was recently honored by the European Probiotics Association with the Jules Tournut Probiotics Prize for his PhD work with Jens Walters (then) at the University of Nebraska. Congrats to Steve!!
