Two new NIH grants were recently awarded involving Milk Bioactives group at FFHI. The first is a $2.7M grant from the National Cancer Institute is led by Yu-Jui Yvonne Wan, a professor and vice chair for research in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and also involves Dr. Mills and Dr. Carolyn Slupsky (FST). Congrats to Mills lab alumni, Nick Bokulich, who was recently awarded the John Kinsella Thesis award, the highest award of distinction for PhD students in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Congratulations Nick!!
