Dr. Mills has recently been awarded a 5 year, $2.2M R01 award from NIH entitled "Activation of probiotic bifidobacteria by prebiotic milk glycans". Co-investigators on this award are Carlito Lebrilla (Chem), Bruce German (FST) and Carolyn Slupsky (FST).   This work is funded through the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.  Congratulations all!
