With much excitement, David Sela will begin an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Food Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in September, 2013. David obtained his MS in Food Science and PhD in Microbiology here at UC Davis and, along with lab mate Riccardo LoCascio, was part of the seminal Mills lab work on the interface of human milk oligosaccharides and Bifidobacterium longum ssp. infantis.
The Food Science Department at U Mass is one of the top ranked Food Science departments in the nation. Congratulations to Dave!!
