Daniel Garrido begins faculty position at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile

With much excitement and anticipation, Dr. Daniel Garrido has moved onto a faculty position in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses in the School of Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.  This is one of the oldest and most famous universities in Chile, located in Santiago.   Daniel will be teaching Biotechnology students and supporting the major of Biological Engineering.  He recently moved back down to Chile and is currently scouting for new students to establish his research.

Daniel came to UC Davis in 2007 and has established a tremendous body of work on the interface between milk glycans and bifidobacteria.  We are thrilled for Daniel as he embarks on his new career as a professor.   Congratulations Daniel!!
