Open position in the Mills lab

We are currently looking for a postdoctoral candidate interested in the role of milk on probiotic/commensal biology.

Microbial ecology focus.  The first position will focus on the impact of prebiotic substrates present in milks on the composition of the gastrointestinal microbiota—with a focus on bifidobacterial enrichment in the infant GIT.  The position requires a PhD in Microbiology/Food Science or similar field with experience in molecular microbiology/ecology.  Experience with pan-genomic or deep sequence-based community analyses a plus.  

Candidates must have a PhD in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or related field with proven experience and publication record.  To apply, please send a CV and list of three references to David Mills (damills@ucdavis.edu).
